[:pb]Real-life data for HTA studies in Latin America.

During a healthcare technology assessment (HTA) one of the biggest challenges is the availability of real-world evidence that supports HTA analyses. Particularly, in Latin America and with medical devices and diagnostic tests, this issue becomes even more challenging.

We invite everyone to participate in ISPOR LATAM’s SSUE PANEL that will debate this topic:

CHALLENGES IN HEALTH SYSTEMS IN LATIN AMERICA: WHICH REAL-WORLD EVIDENCE IS NEEDED TO ESTIMATE VALUE OF MEDICAL CARE AND DIAGNOSTIC TESTING IN A HEALTHCARE TECHNOLOGY EVALUATION PROCESS?

The International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR) in its Latin America (LATAM) edition will be held at the Hotel Transamérica in São Paulo (BR), from 15 to 17 September 2017. ISPOR’s annual meeting is one of the most important channels of scientific dissemination on pharmacoeconomics and results research. ISPOR is a global scientific and educational leader for HEOR (health economics and outcome research) and its use in the decision-making process for improving health(https://www.ispor.org/ ).

The scientific director of MAPESolutions, Bruno S. Riveros, will coordinate the table of ISSUE PANEL, along with Mr. Eduardo Coura Assis, consultant to the Ministry of Health and one of the main authors of the guidelines for the elaboration of HTA for medical equipment in the MS; Mrs. Cristina N. Ferreira, from Edwards Lifesciences LATAM, responsible for carrying out HEOR and HTA studies in this organization, as well as Mr. Charles Cachoeira, Global Marketplace Access Director at Roche.[:]
