  • Problem Statement:
    Although the teams had been occupying the same space for years, they weren’t integrated as one. The objective was for the HEOR Team to develop HTA Value Dossiers and the Marketplace Access Team should use Strategy and Ability to Adopt Key Accounts (Private Health Plans and State Health Departments).

Proposed Solution:
MAPESolutions was hired to improve the capabilities of HEOR/HTA and implement a framework that worked with both teams integrated. A basic EAD (distance education) module was developed to optimize the work and field of Marketplace Access and then a 4-day conference was developed to integrate Marketplace Access and HEOR/HTA, aiming at Key Accounts Management. After that, the active coaching process allowed for a more effective framework implemented and used by the teams.

Outcome:
The final objective of the Market Access field strategic team was achieved and the value proposition communication plan was widely implemented by both the HEOR/HTA and Market Access teams.
